Throughout the holiday season, people love watching Christmas movies. Some common favorite Christmas movies that people watch every year are Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Santa Claus Is Coming To Town, and Frosty the Snowman. Although all of these Christmas movies are the favorite holiday films of many people, none of them are my favorites. In order for more people to discover different holiday movies than what they are used to watching every year, I would like to share with you my top five favorite holiday movies that I watch every year.

The first-holiday movie that I watch every year is called Snowglobe. Snowglobe is an ABC Family Original Movie that first premiered in 2007. I have been watching this movie every year since about 2013 or 2014. Since discovering it, I have considered it to be my favorite Christmas movie that I have ever seen. The reason that I love Snowglobe so much is because I love the story that it tells. Snowglobe is about a young woman named Angela who constantly has to put up with her crazy Italian family. Angela receives a magical Snowglobe in the mail one day, and whenever she winds it up, she is transported into the Snowglobe. Inside the snow globe is the perfect Christmas village, and all of the people are really nice to both her and all of the people who live there. In the Snowglobe, Angela meets a really nice guy who meets her expectations of being the perfect boyfriend. Suppose you are looking for a great Christmas movie to watch. In that case, I recommend watching Snowglobe because it is truly an unforgettable holiday movie.

The second-holiday movie that I watch every year is A Charlie Brown Christmas. A Charlie Brown Christmas has always been my favorite cartoon holiday movie because I have always loved the Peanuts characters. My favorite part of the entire movie is when Charlie Brown and Linus visit the Christmas tree lot and find the little green Christmas tree. Despite the instructions that Lucy gives Charlie Brown when it comes to finding the perfect Christmas tree, Charlie Brown buys the little green Christmas tree. Even though the little green Christmas tree doesn’t add up to the expectations of everyone, Charlie Brown and Linus both love the little tree. When Charlie Brown gives up on the little tree being perfect, his friends step in and help the little tree by giving it a little loving care and decorations in order to make it an even better tree for Charlie Brown. These little moments within the movie prove that Christmas isn’t about the decorations and presents but that it is about the people whom you celebrate the holidays with.

The third-holiday movie that I watch every year is called The Mistle-tones. The Mistle-tones is an ABC Family original movie that first premiered in 2012. The Mistle-tones is about a young woman named Holly who dreams of being in a singing group called The Snowbells that perform at the mall every year on Christmas Eve. Holly’s mother founded the Snowbells, and when Holly auditions for the Snowbells and doesn’t make it, she ends up talking to the manager at the mall and organizing a singing contest so that everyone who has ever dreamed about singing at the mall on Christmas Eve can compete for a chance to sing. After talking to the mall manager about organizing a singing contest, Holly is faced with the issue of finding people to join her own singing group. So Holly and four people from her workplace end up forming a singing group, and they end up competing in the singing competition at the mall together. Even though this movie is a musical, I recommend it to people because of the story that it tells and because it is one of the best Christmas movies that I have ever seen.

The fourth-holiday movie that I would recommend people to watch is A Muppets Christmas Carol. Many people love watching A Christmas Carol every year, but I personally think that A Muppets Christmas Carol is my favorite version. Ever since I was younger, I have always loved The Muppets because they seem to make me laugh uncontrollably no matter what they end up doing. A Muppets Christmas Carol is my favorite version of A Christmas Carol because I really love that the Muppets play all of the characters expect Scrooge. The guy who plays Scrooge really fits the role ideally because, throughout the entire movie, he is really grumpy and hates Christmas. The lesson that I learned from A Muppets Christmas Carol at the age of five was that Christmas is not just a time for receiving gifts but that it is also a time for giving gifts to those in need. And that is another reason why I love this movie. I have only watched A Muppets Christmas Carol once, but I can assure you that if you decide to watch it, you will not be disappointed.

The fifth-holiday movie that has always been one of my favorites is The Santa Clause. The Santa Clause is a Disney movie that was first released back in 1994. The reason that I love The Santa Clause so much is because Tim Allen is in it and because I love the story that the movie tells. The Santa Clause tells the story of a guy named Scott Calvin who turns into the real Santa Claus. I really love this movie because of the relationship between Scott Calvin and his son Charlie. My favorite moment in The Santa Clause is when an elf named Bernard gives Charlie a magical Snowglobe, and anytime the Snowglobe is shaken by Charlie, his dad is able to come directly to him no matter where he is in the world. The Santa Clause has always been one of my favorite movies because I love how realistic the North Pole looks in the movie, and if it was a real place, it would be just as magical as the one seen in the film.
