all the while forgetting yourself

You fully pour into others

all the while, you’re placed on the shelf

That light you carried, slowly fades to black

all the while, no one else lacks

Everyone is skipping through the fields of lilies

all the while the dark cloud floats over you

You realize everyone deserves joy and happiness

yes, even you!

You still pour into others, but you make sure you fill your cup first

You realize others have treated you badly 

simply because you weren’t aware of your worth!

and accept it’s not a crime
