My Ring Became My Weapon

Lilly was hoping for a great, wealthy, and free life when she agreed to marry and become Mrs. Rooh. Her one-month-long partner was a businessman who owned a lavish double-story house and expensive cars. It was a day of celebration and jubilee.

Little did Lilly know that she was marrying a jackal-wearing sheepskin.

A few days after their wedding day, Mr. Rooh started showing his true colors.

He started off by tracking the whereabouts of his wife.

Mrs. Rooh tried to tell him how his misconduct negatively affected her. Mr. Rooh turned a blind eye to her feelings, and his malicious behavior escalated.

Mrs. Rooh became a prisoner in her own home. Her marriage became nothing she expected. It became more of a cash exchange between families. She was told what, where, and how to do things. She lived like a two-year-old; that was the treatment she received from her husband. Freedom and the soft life she expected were far from her.

It was not easy for the 30-year-old young and pretty lady to leave this toxic and peculiar relationship because she boasted about her rich husband as well as her great life after marriage.

She was very unhappy in her marriage. She was bitter and threw things in the house and would cry a river every time she was alone. Her ring became her husband’s weapon. He will abuse her while gloating about the expensive wedding and a ring he bought for her. One silly day, the wife tried trading the barbs, and her husband became very furious and started beating her.

Mrs. Rooh was too embarrassed to leave the good life she flaunted about. Instead of improving, her husband took it further by telling her to quit her job. She now had nothing to distract her and get her out of her prison house.

As the situation intensified, Lilly looked for help. Fortunately for her, August is Women’s Month, and her plea for assistance was given precedence. Mr. Rooh was arrested, and Lilly finally enjoyed her rich life alone.
