Today, I woke up,
To the melodious sane,
Twittering on the Hawthorn tree,
Just by my windowpane…
Reflecting the Sun’s warm hug,
With a warmth so pure,
Embraced my wretched soul
To find solace in nature’s cure…
For the tears have now dried,
And my heart bears weight no more,
So, I gently propped my feet upon the Earth,
Feeling lighter, brighter, and eager to explore.
Rising anew, I sense a lift,
This time, it aches less than before…
A dormant child of Winter’s shade,
Stirs within, ready to soar.
With wings now grander, more vibrant,
Yearning to dance, in the morning light,
For Spring has graced us once again,
Bringing hope, joy, and an urge to fight…
