I miss you quietly,
So quietly that I can’t think clearly.
I miss your infantile smiles;
I miss your gentle touch.
I miss your charming eyes,
And your coffee complexion,
That glints like a torch.
Oh! Radiant starlight, I miss being your companion.
I miss you when I’m eating.
I miss you when I’m Facebooking.
I miss you when my spirit is down,
And you aren’t here to cheer me up.
In your absence, I feel like a real clown,
As boredom jeers in my face non-stop.
I miss you like crazy.
Your touch, your warmth;
They all make me drunk and dizzy.
Being away for a month,
Seems like a century.
And I trust not if I can go on that far,
So, I thought of writing you this poetry.
