In you, I find peace,
A peace I always wanted
By the clouds, I rest my head
By the stars, I claim my rest
Look how my veins sleep
They haven’t done so in a thousand years.
Like the sun, I wish to shine
A light that never fades,
My soul found rest in you
Serenity, ah serenity
Listen to the music I bring
My heart comes to rest.
Like a hiding place
You made this heart safe,
Like a shield to my heart
You protected my soul
A calm voice speaks to me
It tells me “fear not.
Worry no more
Calm your heart, dearest soul
Lest dark clouds drown you.
I come to be cleansed
This darkness I’ve found me in,
Look to the hills, let no darkness through
My thoughts, I’ve handed over
My sanity, I’ve brought to you

The world I live in

Amidst the noise
