Where Do I Go

Where do I go,

When my time finishes here?

Do I return to the dust,

Or does my sojourn continue, as I walk in tears?

Where do I go,

When I heave my last breath?

Does everything end here,

Or will I find life on another side on this earth?

Where do I go,

The day I hear my popowlee?

Will I go to my Lord up yonder?

And will the angels be glad to receive me?

Where do I go,

When my work is done here?

Take a visit to those yonder stars,

Or just perch with the birds and watch the changing sky?

Visit the library,

And read some books?

Or visit the parlour,

To guise my look?

Visit those beaches,

Where we used to hang and chill?

Or visit those eateries,

And feast on their greasy grail?

Where do I go,

When my sun sets here?

Perhaps I will fly to the land of the dandelions;

Take rest in their midst and forever stay there.
