We live in a Population of 8.2 billion,
And still mess up with the wrong ones,
Then realize that it was never your type.
Life gives us to overcome and face every stage,
So that we can come out of our mind-cage.
There is Positive,
There is a Negative.
The life we live isn’t just ours,
It’s with everyone we live and share with.
But it’s not the ‘Everyone’,
We have in our lives.
There’s a term called.
“Emergency Contacts”
Like we have on our phone,
We have in our lives.
When I checked my phone for it,
I had like 40.
Starting with the person who let me enter this world,
A pretty woman who gave me her genetics (obviously the good one).
A silent teacher- in and diverted out,
A brother who never let me cry in the first place,
Or maybe some eyes roll at me, to be-why?
Chill to be-kay, such that being a good boyfriend has never been tough for…
My best friend, who’s been a family guy to take care of me..
My best friend, whom I gave courage to lead with me,
My 3 Little Juniors who gave me the best delulu ideas that worked,
Probably Mon-Ex-ster, who couldn’t stop to glare,
And his sweetest mom, I adore,
A sudden, random Bro-friend who helped me to consider my revenge plan,
A brother whom I met in my best and who made me better,
An incomplete duo that included me to make a complete trio,
A college crush who has always been natural,
A friend who’s been travelling not just by Bus, but within my time,
A brother who is gifted and who gave me the best gifts on Rakhi,
A friend who might be jealous of me but wishes me well for every exam,
My elder one, who has always been my support that we are on the same path now!
A friend-sister, despite the past relationship gone his family stayed.
A 4-princesses gang that guided me to give my best comebacks…
My Best friend, my fellow leader who stood with me all the time…
My Schoolie who’s now a Doctor of Love…
My previous preceding role number who, was responsible for being my Big Friend,
A senior brother who was ready to beat up the baddies,
A friend who cracks silly jokes but still never lets me feel low…
A bench-mate who’s been my study partner all the time…
A teacher who taught Chemistry at its peak…
And finally, it ends with me… as — you know my name starts with…
Grew up by learning something from my every “Emergency Contact”
And That’s How Life Works!
