Hearts are tied by
Religious vows and
Emotional waves of
Biting love surely
We could be
Forever tied to each
Other through these
Bracelets we gave
But now I see that we
Can’t ever truly
Tie two hearts with
Material goods, can we?
So break the tie and I
Try forgetting all the
Times we thought we could
Make this work because
I truly believed that we
Had a chance even
How naïve we were when we
Fell in love, so now
The beads fell from my
Wrist this morning, but I
