When we generally say ‘Holidays,’ everyone thinks of time off work or school; those are not the kind of holidays I’ll be speaking of. These are international or national holidays that take place yearly; the most well-known of these is Valentine’s Day.
February may be most famous for Valentine’s Day. Yet, there are many more holidays to celebrate. There is so much more happening this month than chocolates, teddy bears, and heart-shaped everything. In fact, February is packed with all kinds of celebrations that go way beyond the usual Valentine’s vibes.
For example, February is Black History Month, a time to learn, reflect, and celebrate the contributions and stories of African Americans. It also plays host to vegan cuisine month, giving everyone the chance to explore new flavors and try something different in the kitchen.
See below the Popular, Monthly, and Weekly holidays for February.

I’ve learned a lot doing this article, a few things on these lists I didn’t know, and yet I will admit there was a lot I didn’t. Has Valentine’s Day overshadowed all other holidays and celebrations throughout this month?
Has this single holiday become so commercialized that no other holiday seems as important anymore, when in fact they are just as important, if not more important, than chocolates, teddy bears, and heart-shaped everything?
