When did you start holding your breath?
Exhale.
Do you feel your body relaxing as you let go of the breath you took in so very long ago?
Place your hand on your chest. When was the last time your heart wasn’t racing?
Sit still.
Can you feel the chaos subside? Your muscles releasing tension may feel alien at first.
Put down the Post-its, the index cards, the running list on your phone with empty boxes, so many boxes, you’ve yet to check that you use to make yourself feel like you haven’t accomplished enough.

It’s okay to edit your goals, to alter your dreams, to keep growing out of an older skin and into a new one.

It’s alright.

It’s okay to be this you.
Soak it up and breathe in the possibilities of taking your time.
