Inside my one-bedroom flat, gazing at life from a distance. My eyes pop out because of disbelief, and my jaw drops because of amazement. Year 2030 looks like a year that’s not from planet Earth.
Almost everything is artificial and unbelievable in 2030. Starting from how people look with too much makeup, Brazilian Butt Lifts, etc. They change themselves, and you wouldn’t notice someone you know. People alter their bodies to suit their liking, and they live life as if they were given one day to live.
A world transformed by technology, a faster pace of life, and people caught up in surviving or chasing the moment. Elders send little children to buy liquor. Age restrictions mean nothing in 2030.
The world is becoming what I never wished for. Unfortunately, I saw it coming with all the trends and content. As much as I used social media, I knew what was shown to educate and what was shown to recruit more bad people.
Slowly, I walked away from the window and sat slowly on the bed. Quickly, my mind came back. The year 2030 was just my imagination.
