Poetry- Bone Of My Bones

Like the moon craves the night sky,

My being yearns for the embrace of your spirit.

Like all the rivers that empty into the sea,

And yet the sea is not satiated.

We may slip and fall a thousand times,

But still, we shall rise.

Like the snail that does not travel,

Without its shell,

Wherever I am, there you must be,

For today, you have become bone of my bones,

And flesh of my flesh.

Darling, I want to smile,

Like the way you do,

For your smile is poetry in its finest.

Yes, I want to love,

Like you, too,

For your love is as sweet,

As the juice of the nectar flower.

Be my Rose,

And I will be your Jack.

In times of storm, and no matter how it blows,

I will always have your back.

I shall gladly give up my life,

So you can live.

Fair maid,

I love you,

Like how the moon,

Loves the sun.

I love you,

Like how a poet loves,

To write poetry.

I love you,

And I will stay,

Until the universe,

Is no more.

O, starlight, I love you,

Like how a man,

Must love a woman.
