I am passionate about religion, spirituality, tarot cards, romantic stories, Indie movies, helping people via charity projects, writing novels and poems, the taste of buttery pancakes and syrup, the kindness and brutality of the animal kingdom, art, growing plants from soil and seeds, providing counselling, Indian clothes, the colour white, old buildings, wild flowers, the smell of musk and lavender and just everything beautiful in this world 🌼
There are so many things to be passionate about and yet we choose to let the mundane crush us. Being passionate about small, infinitesimal details is what allows us to thrive after coming home from an exhausting 9-5.
My passion is to not be “that girl” that social media pushes down our throat through short-format videos, where this invented human persona wakes up at 5 a.m to do some yoga in a monochrome outfit, delicately swallows a ready-made glass of perfectly blended matcha tea and then claw-clips her healthy hair up.
I’m passionate about chaos and order, the Pamela Anderson’s with messy hair and thin brows, the mums in oversized cardigans that feel like failures until their child smiles towards them, the ugly banana cake that actually tastes scrumptious, the drama of geese attacking you when you come to close, the spillover in my kitchen from my rose oil, the unpredictability of whether the universe was created by an all-loving God or aliens in a spaceship.
All of this mess and created comfort is what I am passionate about and never want to stay from.
