Happy New Year’s loves. I hope you all had a great holiday season. If you didn’t, I hope better opportunities are ahead of you. So, your fall boo is now your partner, congratulations! We are now navigating to the season of love, which is Valentine’s Day. Let me be the first to say Happy Valentine’s Day! So, it’s your first Valentine’s Day with your person can be intimating, however relax, I am here to help. I have a few tips that will help you have a fun and stress-free Valentine’s Day.

Do not stress! Valentine’s Day is a fun day to celebrate the ones you love. It is not a day to stress about being perfect. Don’t let social media stress you out or believe that you need the same type of gifts, affection, or etc. Social media adds an unnecessary amount of stress because, naturally, we want more in life. Valentine’s Day is extremely dramatic on social media; however, you do not know the background stories to those posts, videos, reels, etc. So, do not stress this one day. I promise you’re just in your head. It’s just another day.

Be yourself. Guess what hun, your boo already likes you. You do not have to do anything different. You just need to calm down. Get your boo a nice gift, and have a nice day. This year Valentine’s Day falls on a Friday, so handle your work, then enjoy the evening with your boo.

It’s okay to be by yourself. Again, Valentine’s Day is just another day. It is as special as you make it. With that being said, it does not have to be special if you don’t want it to be. Show yourself love by either getting your favorite treat, watch your favorite movie, and etc. Do not make any day negative because you are still finding yourself and haven’t met your partner yet.

Valentine’s Day is just another day. You do not have to do anything, and at the same time, you can do everything. Don’t get in your head and overthink the day of love. Enjoy your time with your better half or enjoy some necessary you time.
