Sometimes, heroes don’t wear uniforms.
Sometimes, they have furs.
Sometimes, to show their feelings,
They usually purr.
Sometimes, they aren’t that beautiful;
They have prickling whiskers.
Sometimes, they don’t bark to be heard,
Cause they are silent saviors.
Sometimes, you don’t know if they are heroes,
But watch their movements and see.
You will see heroes without rifles,
But yet still set innocent captives free.
People, not all heroes wear uniforms.
And of this fact, I wish we all knew.
Some bark to save lives;
Some do theirs through a quiet mew
