Lovelies, it is August! I know you all have been sweating your lives away all summer. I hope you have had a chance to go to the beach and pool and do all the summer activities. The best part about August is that we still have some summer left. That means get outside! There’s still time to catch a gorgeous sunset and possibly stumble upon a cutie.

Now lovelies, I love August because I thrive in the Fall. However, I also enjoy August because I love a good pool party and I love some summer fashion. Take the opportunity to wear your favorite shorts and be happy about it. For the ladies, if you have been stressing yourself out about that bikini, sis, put it on and enjoy your day. We are in the final month of summer, and believe it or not, no one cares. 

As I said earlier, catch that sunset. There is nothing like a summer sunset. For the loves that have partners, a summer sunset is an affordable activity to experience together. For the bougies like myself, a summer sunset goes well with a dinner on a rooftop overlooking a city. You see what I am saying. Make that sunset the accessory to your summer.

My last tip for the summer is to take that last-minute vacation. We are always trying to find love or prepare ourselves for love, heal from heartbreak, etc., but let’s show ourselves some love. Taking a vacation can be exactly what you need to end the summer on the right foot. Enjoy time away from your normal life. We all need a small period to cleanse our minds and refocus our visions. Let loose and enjoy this last month. Don’t worry about what did not happen this summer. Be grateful for the things that did happen.
