Before You Read My Eyes

I wrote your name in a silent breeze,

Where only hearts and hope can tease.

Before you knew, before you guessed —

You lived in dreams I never confessed.

I smiled when you looked my way,

And swallowed words I meant to say.

Not fear, not doubt — but something shy,

Kept locking all my “whys” inside.

You knew, perhaps… you always knew,

The way I changed when near to you.

But silence grew like vines of fate,

While love just stood and learned to wait.

You looked away — I felt the space,

Yet found no anger in your grace.

A war of hearts, too soft to fight,

Two souls who never said it right.

So here I am — no mask, no game,

Just a poet whispering your name.

If you feel even half as I do,

Then take my hand — and say it too.
