The Never-ending Search

On this journey

I’ve been swindled and hurt,

My heart has cracks more than ever

In scars I see more scars

In aches, I feel more pain

So, when will I see the light?

Love hid her face

Pain made his move,

In each day, I bear the marks of loneliness

These are marks I’ve grown to know

Do I deserve love

Do I deserve a life

When will I see the light?

Through this path

I’ve seen a thousand evils,

Lovers broken up like clay pots

The truth hidden from our eyes

What world are we living in

When will we see the light?

Here we are

Searching for a light in darkness,

When they say darkness is thick

This is all true

So true, I can never be swayed

Yet I’m still searching

A search that never ends

On this journey, we keep searching

Searching the never-ending search.
