She was not the same girl she was a year ago, and she never would be again.
It saddened her to know that something she loved so very much was now beyond reach.
Yet all the past parts of who she had been had made her who she was today,
knowing that in this life, we would never remain the same.
So she thanked all the versions that had been before, for the growth, for the love, and for the lessons.
And took this time to get to know this very new part of who she was growing to become.
