Power:
It is a pretty privilege that I can’t afford. This power is a privilege that has authority over me, like a three-dimensional object has authority over a two-dimensional object. Just like a single sheet of paper cannot have secrets from a human.
It is interesting for people to know that they have some power, in simple words “authority” or “control” over something. A man is weak in the sense that he cannot prove dominance without the weaker ones. People think that they can become greater than someone if others are weak, poor, or lacking. Or they think they can become greater through these petty privileges. We think that being above someone proves that we are deserving of these privileges. People think that power comes with due respect. In fact, that “due respect” is nothing more than an insecurity of these rich people.
In a way, it is not entirely their fault because these poor and insecure people are also making an effort to become rich. These poor people are the ones who gave the rich a reason to behave like this. The poor, who think of themselves as innocent, would themselves behave the same if they had that power.
In the end, money is not everything. It is the power and privilege that comes with money that is everything. The sense of completion or satisfaction that comes with power makes people crazy. It is in the roots of humanity to become dominant. They thrive on power.
Obviously, it is a bubble. “Power” is just a bubble. It is one of the many points of view humans have about satisfaction. There are down-to-earth people who are happy; they are happy because of satisfaction; they are satisfied with themselves and their life. They know how to live peacefully. They are happy with less. They are happy because happiness does not only depend upon power. It also depends upon satisfaction.
Deep inside our souls, we know the difference between right and wrong, good and bad. So, “power” is just a bubble created by human thinking, or it is simply one way of making themselves satisfied. These powerful people are also lacking inner approval, which they try to gain by showing off to others.
These rich people require validation from others. They show their money, their privileges, “the pretty ones,” and their so-called power to the world so that people can see them, validate them, and rank them.
